A year earlier, they moved from the Udmurt Republic to begin university degrees in Japanese and marketing. Their studio apartment in Greenlandia gave them the chance to live independently for the first time. They hadn't made friends locally yet, but they have each other, and their cat, Esenin.
Biography
Katinka Hustad (b. 1991) is a Norwegian photojournalist working as a staff photographer for the Norwegian weekly newspaper Morgenbladet. She graduated with a BA in photojournalism from Oslo University College in 2015 and has since received both national and international awards, including third place in the short film category in World Press Photo 2016. In 2018, she was awarded the Picture of The Year in Norway. She participated in World Press Photo’s Joop Swart Masterclass in Amsterdam (2018) and Norwegian Journal of Photography #5 (2019-2021).
