Bob Krist is a freelance photographer and filmmaker who has worked extensively on assignments for magazines such as National Geographic, National Geographic Traveler, Smithsonian, and Islands.

Krist was named ‘Travel Photographer of the Year’ by the Society of American Travel Writers three times, in 1994, 2007, and 2008.
